Abstract: |
4 test pits in the west end of the north range of the Vicars Choral, Hereford Cathedral. On the site of the mostly demolished Custos Lodge. Victorian and earlier archaeological deposits in all 4 trenches. Brick vault beneath extant toilet buildings discovered; excavation within to base of the Bishop's Palace garden wall on the west side. |
