Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring works were carried out in support of development work on land at Church Lane, Riccarton. Five foundation trenches were excavated within the development area. The archaeological works were designed to mitigate the impact on the archaeological remains within the development area. The monitoring works found a large area of late 19th century made ground and a shallow modern linear feature. The works did not identify the presence of any significant archaeological features within the development area. |
