Abstract:		 Magnitude Surveys was commissioned to assess the subsurface archaeological potential of a c. 1.6ha area of land at Church Road Stutton, Suffolk. A fluxgate magnetometer survey was successfully conducted across most of the site; however, 0.3ha of the site could not be surveyed due to the presence of dense vegetation. The survey has detected a wide range of anomalies including comparatively subtle historic ploughing trends. The results reflect magnetic disturbance from modern activity, agricultural anomalies, and the sand and gravel superficial geology. No anomalies of probable or possible archaeological origin have been classified
