Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 2.3 hectares of pasture. A number of features of archaeological origin have been identified, including a double ditched field boundary, a possible linear cut feature and possible areas of historic industrial activity. Other features identified are likely modern or agricultural in origin. These include ploughing, services, land drains, magnetic disturbance from metallic gates and fences and a number of isolated ferrous objects causing magnetic spikes. |
