Abstract: |
Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by CgMs Consulting to carry out a programme of historic building recording at Field Farm, Ashby Road, Kegworth, Leicestershire, centred on National Grid Reference (NGR) 446849 326603. The Farm is located within the proposed development area for the Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI) to the north of East Midlands Airport. The historic building record was carried out prior to the demolition of all extant buildings on the site. The farmstead was constructed in the late C18th/early C19th. |
