Abstract:		 This report has been undertaken by MAP Archaeological Practice Ltd under the instruction of Rachael Bartlett acting on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. McMahon Turner, to record the farmhouse at Hermitage Farm, Malton Road, Stockton-on-Forest, York, prior to its demolition. The Building Record was of a late nineteenth century agricultural building converted into a residential dwelling in the twentieth century. The farmhouse and rear extension were constructed of brick details with a pantile roofs.
