Abstract:		 April to May 2006. Oxford archaeology carried out an archaeological investigation prior to development at Hankin's Garage, New Alresford, Hampshire. The work involved a watching brief of the site which led to an evaluation and finally a strip, map and sample exercise. This series of work revealed a ditch and post holes representing property and other boundaries dating from the 13th to 19th centuries. Various other features were interpreted as post holes for structures, rubbish pits, planting holes and a well.
