Abstract: |
An historic building record of former agricultural buildings was prepared prior to their conversion into three residential units. The buildings formed part of a larger farm (that has documented medieval origins), and included a linhay and threshing barn that date from at least the early 19th century. The majority of the agricultural buildings date from 1909 when George Wreford refurbished the farm; the surveyed buildings included stables, a cart shed and ranges of cow sheds with part open fronts reflecting a variation of the traditional linhay. |
