Abstract: |
The JESSOP Consultancy to undertook an archaeological watching brief during works within the cellar of the Grade II Listed Holly Bush Farm in March 2018 (NHLE ref: 1109349). The watching brief confirmed the cellar appeared to be a single phase, with two sherds of pottery from beneath the floor slabs and within a small put cut into levelling deposits, providing a terminus post quem of the 18th century; a date contemporary with the construction of the house. |
