Abstract: |
In advance of the construction of nine houses with associated car parking, four evaluation trenches were excavated at the site of the former Red Cow public house. The remains of 19th century brick buildings which had stood on the site were identified, but no remains were observed relating to Lenton Priory. Deposits indicative of a former water channel were recorded in the north half of the site. |
