Abstract:		 Purdis Farm, Purdis Rise, Purdis Farm Lane (PFM 032, TM 2060 4282) evaluation trenching for a residential development on the eastern side of Ipswich in an area that was open sheepwalk until the 1930s revealed one ditch of mid-20th century date and a few stray metal finds of similar date including some evidence for WW II period military activity albeit at a low density.
