Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on the groundworks for a new residential dwelling with a rear detached garage. The monitored groundworks comprised the mechanical excavation of the foundations for both. No archaeological activity was identified on this site and there were no finds. The findings consisted of a deposit sequence of a topsoil horizon that overlay a natural horizon of clays.
