Abstract: |
The excavation recorded traces of a late Roman settlement, probably dating from the 4th century AD, confirming the results of an earlier evaluation of the site. The finds recovered suggest that the settlement may have been relatively high-status, and it is possible that a masonry building would once have stood in the vicinity. A short note will be published in Archaeologia Cantiana |
