Abstract: |
Level 2 survey of a mid-19th-century pub on the edge of a pit village. Originally a private house, it was the Joiner's Arms into the 1970s. After a period of disuse it was refurbished and re-opened as the Brown Trout, which closed in 2019. It is a plain building, typical of its region, and retains few original features. |
