Abstract: |
In November 2018, Cotswold Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation of land adjacent to Holwell Farm, St. Ann's Chapel, Bigbury, Devon. A total of eight trenches was excavated within the site. The evaluation recorded five north-east/south-west aligned ditches. These were all undated artefactually but were on the same orientation as the extant field system. Three of the ditches correspond to field boundaries depicted on 19th and 20th century cartographic sources. |
