Abstract:		 An archaeological assessment of a building at Lower Hill Top Farm,Grains Road, Delph, OL3 5RL was carried out in May 2010 by J. M. Trippier Archaeological and Surveying Consultancy on behalf of Mrs Alice Byrom on instruction from Chorlton Planning Ltd of 67 High Street, Lees, Oldham. The assessment was required in order to establish the significance of the building as a heritage asset a part of a planning application which involved the conversion of the building to residential use.
