The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on the groundworks for a new residential dwelling. No archaeological activity was identified on this site and there were no finds. The findings consisted of a site deposit sequence of a modern topsoil horizon, an undated buried soil horizon and a natural horizon. The site was badly drained and modern attempts had been made to improve this drinage with a layer of chalk spreads within the undated buried soil horizon along with a rounded land drain filled with chalk.
