Abstract: |
University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) carried out an archaeological Evaluation of land west of Leicester Road, Countesthorpe, Leicestershire, (SK 58672 96214) undertaken on the 23rd and 24th February 2012 . This work was undertaken on behalf of the client Stride Treglown Limited. Three trenches were excavated to evaluate an area for a proposed new development located within the vacant land to the west of Leicester Road. All trenches contained no archaeological features apart from medieval ridge and furrow. |
