Abstract:		 Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by Mclaren Group Ltd through their agent Terence O'Rourke Ltd to undertake an archaeological watching brief on land at the McLaren Technology Centre, Woking, Surrey. The archaeological watching brief comprised of monitoring the excavation of 10 geotechnical test pits which were located on the proposed building development. The work was undertaken the 23rd to 24th June 2014. No evidence of any archaeological features were found during the watching brief however test pits 8, 9 and 10 did display signs of modern disturbance which may have been associated with the landscaping of the grounds of the McLaren Production Centre (MPC) building.
