The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was maintained during the groundworks for a new ICT classroom at Tideway School, Newhaven on the 13th to 16th July 2010. The watching brief recorded a ditch terminal or pit which produced an interesting assemblage of Late Bronze Age pottery (c.900BC) and flintwork. A remnant buried soil also produced Late Bronze Age pottery (c.900BC) and flintwork, whilst a small amount of Mesolithic flintwork and LIA/RB pottery hinted at activity in other periods.
