Abstract: |
The vaults beneath Chapel Royal were recorded prior to refurbishment. The outer walls are almost certainly the original late 18-century structure but almost everything else was rebuilt in 1880. The vaults were not used for burial but were for storage since the chapel was built, and were let out commercially at least from the early 19th century. |
