Abstract:		 SLR Consulting Ltd was commissioned by Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc in November 2012 to undertake a Heritage Statement for the proposed extension to an existing store at Lake, Isle of Wight; WM Morrison Supermarket, Newport Road, Sandown, Isle of Wight, PO36 9PA (the Site) (Drawing 1). This statement addresses the archaeological and built heritage implications of this proposal. The study area consists of a 1km radius from the boundary of the Site, centred on SZ579833. This report will be presented with WM Morrison Supermarket's planning application and other technical documents.
