Abstract:		 In August 2018 KDK Archaeology Ltd carried out Historic Building Impact Assessment of 37a Market Place, St Albans, Hertfordshire to provide the heritage related information required by NPPF. The shop is part of a larger brick building that has been subdivided to provide two separate units and a restaurant at ground floor level with offices above. Overall, it is considered that this particular proposal would have a neutral effect on the significance and setting of the building, whereas the proposals as a whole would have a positive impact.
