Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was mounted on the groundworks for a new residential dwelling and a detached garage. The line of a medieval relict river known as the River Fleet was identified. Finds of medieval and late medieval to early post medieval pottery were recovered from one of its fills. The line of a former post medieval drainage dyke was also recorded. The line of a medieval relict watercourse known as the River Fleet was recorded.
