Abstract: |
Planning permission was granted by Aylesbury Vale District Council for development at Wood End Farm, Wood End, Nash. This included consent for the demolition of outbuildings and replacement with agricultural buildings and conversion and extension to 2 barns to form 2 dwellings. The grade II listed farmhouse dates from the 17th century and the farmyard contains other historic buildings. A condition was attached to the planning consent requiring a programme of archaeological works and historic building recording. The two barns with permission for conversion to dwellings were sold and the site was subsequently developed in three plots; Wood End Farm, Dairy Barn and Pond Barn. Historic building recording was undertaken in 2012 for the preparation of a building assessment report and during the development works in 2015 |
