Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 2.3 hectares of grassland. The survey has a medieval moat (HER number 220) with associated activity within its centre. A number of possible archaeological anomalies have also been identified in close proximity to the moat; however it is not possible to determine their origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of modern origin relating to underground services, made ground, scattered magnetic debris, ferrous objects and fencing. |
