The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Thirty-five trenches were opened mechanically under archaeological supervision and archaeological features excavated by hand. A systematic metal detector survey was also undertaken. Three undated postholes were the only cut features revealed, along with numerous geological features. Geophysical 'anomalies' all appeared to be variations in the geology. A few stray finds of various periods were recovered from topsoil or from the metal detecting survey, but nearly all were modern.
