Abstract: |
An archaeological trenched evaluation followed by a strip, map and record was completed on approximately 0.66 hectares of former agricultural and industrial land on the edge of Reed village prior to the development of the Proposed Development Area (PDA) with twelve dwellings, associated services and access. Evidence for a late 19th century Brickworks and early 20th century buildings belonging to Mill Corner Farm were revealed. Negative evidence was recorded for any earlier periods. |
