The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The area of the Archaeological Watching Brief was c. 25m by 12m and lay directly north of the remains of St. Mary Magdalene’s Chapel. The proposed development will landscape this area, constructing stairs and a walkway between the residential development to the north and the chapel. A tracked excavator with a broad, toothless ditching bucket, undertook the topsoil removal and reduced level dig under archaeological supervision. A deposit of topsoil and a deposit of clay was observed overlying natural sand deposits. No archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered during the Archaeological Watching Brief.
