Description: Complete; L 50.7mm; max W 6.7mm; Th 3.3mm. Bone point/awl; made from long bone wall; widest and slightly flattened in centre; one end whittled, tapering to a sharp point, polished from use; other end also tapered but less evenly. Somewhat resembles the short double-ended bone needles found in Iron Age Britain but lacks the perforated eye.
