This collection includes images, text and spreadsheet data from a trial trench evaluation carried out by L-P Archaeology at Whitethorn Farm, Stoke Mandeville South Embankment, Buckinghamshire during September 2018.

The Trial trench evaluation comprised nine trenches across the Site representing a mix of targeted and randomly located trenches. Seven out of nine trenches revealed archaeological deposits. The remains exposed represent a positive ground truthing of previous geophysical work, which highlighted a Medieval to Post Medieval ridge and furrow system and Medieval to Modern drainage ditches. This was not collected in OASIS IV when this record was originally created
