| Description | In 2021 Locus Consulting was commissioned by Robert Winter (the ‘Client’) to compile a Written Scheme of Investigation (WSI) for archaeological works associated with the proposed development at The Ashes Farm, Fenny Bentley, Derbyshire Dales, Derbyshire (the Site). Locus Consulting produced a Heritage Impact Assessment to support an application for planning permission for the works outlined in Section 1.3 in 2021 (Locus Consulting Ltd, 2021). In the event that planning permission is granted, discussions with the local planning authority archaeologist have indicated that a program of historic building recording and archaeological monitoring will be required. This document aims to set out the full scope of works and methodology, for both the historic building recording and the archaeological monitoring. |
