| Description | This document is a Written Scheme of Investigation (WSI) for archaeological Set Piece Excavation in advance of construction of Hornsea Project One. The project was granted a Development Consent Order (DCO) on 10th December 2014. This WSI has been designed in consultation with the Heritage Steering Group (HSG) in order to mitigate the impacts of the proposed onshore electrical connection works on known archaeological remains via preservation by record at selected sites along the onshore cable route. The HSG includes the Archaeological Advisors for Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) (responsible for East Lindsey and West Lindsey), North East Lincolnshire Council (NELC) and North Lincolnshire Council (NLC). |
