| Description | An excavation was carried out on the basis of the trial trenching which had been carried out. This excavation revealed that the site sat within the hinterland of medieval Mansfield. The changes in agricultural practices where noticed on the site with the transition from ridge and furrow to a regimented field boundaries of the post-medieval period. |
