| Description | Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by Caddick Construction Ltd, to produce a written scheme of investigation (WSI) for archaeological evaluation of a 3.1 ha parcel of land located in Hallgate Lane, Pilsley, Derbyshire S45 8HN. The evaluation area was centred on NGR 442021, 362790. All works were undertaken in accordance with the detailed methods set out within this WSI. Any significant variations to these methods were agreed in writing with the DCAfDCC and the client, prior to being implemented. |
