Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. The DOIs provide a way for the ADS resources to be cited in a similar fashion to traditional scholarly materials. More information on DOIs at the ADS can be found on our help page.

Introduction

Site / working shots
Site / working shots

This collection comprises images and survey data from a programme of archaeological observation, investigation, and recording at Gateridge Farm, Croughton, Northamptonshire, undertaken by Oxford Archaeology (OA) in April 2020.

Oxford Archaeology (OA) was commissioned by Andrew Thompson to undertake the works which involved the archaeological monitoring of the excavation of foundation trenches for a new development.

The archaeological observations recorded a single feature suspected to be the result of root disturbance, although the feature maybe associated with land management, such as a boundary or drainage ditch.
