Overview

Figurine of Səmədabad II
Figurine of Səmədabad II

The reports describe the individual excavation sites, written by the site director, totalling 49 reports. There are in addition 6 other reports describing additional components of three of the excavations; the result of analysis of charred crop residues and the combined results of the radiocarbon analyses from all the excavation sites on the BTC and SCPX projects.

The majority of the finds have been deposited in regional museums at Goranboy, Yevlakh, Shamkir and Tovuz. The principal objects and a sample range have been retained at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography central archive in Baku.
