Distinctive FeaturesThis type has a bell-shaped mouth with a rim which has a concave outer face, that is sometimes similar to those of the Dressel 7-9; it also has a cylindrical neck which is generally smaller than those of the Dressel 7 or Dressel 8 necks and the same size as thst of the Dressel 9. It has flattened handles, straight or lightly curved, sometimes elbowed; an ovoid body which has a short hollow spike ending in a flat or sharp bottom (Beltrán Lloris, 1970; Peacock & Williams, 1986).
