Digital Object Identifiers

Visual characteristics

A gritty fabric, orange-buff to reddish-yellow in colour (7.5YR 7/4) with a self-slip (Hayes, 1976), possibly the products of Akko/Ptolemais to the north, while a lime-rich fabric may be associated with the products of Akko /Acre to the south (Reynolds, 2005a).

Frequent grains of well sorted quartz, together with a little limestone, shreds of mica and some iron oxide.
