Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. The DOIs provide a way for the ADS resources to be cited in a similar fashion to traditional scholarly materials. More information on DOIs at the ADS can be found on our help page.

Search the database

The results can be searched according to Site, Burial, or Artefact.

  • With the Site button checked, queries will return all data relating to the site where the query criteria are met.
  • To find only those individual burials that meet the query criteria, the Burial button should be checked instead.
  • The Artefact button will reveal which instances of artefact-types in the data sample meet the criteria selected. For instance, with this button checked, you could make a selection to show which artefacts from a given county occur in male graves for which radiocarbon dates are also available in the data-sample.
