Description: Rescue excavations in Dunstable located a 3rd and 4th century inhumation cemetery consisting of 96 burials. Most were adult burials some of which had been beheaded. The cemetery was bounded by a shallow ditch dating to the last quarter of the 4th century, and it had in turn been cut by later features suggesting occupation well into the 5th century. Many of the burials appear to have been buried in a haphazard fashion.
