Description: An almshouse type hospital founded in 1137 and dissolved in 1557. The site is marked by a short length of flint wall on the south side of the Dover road, west of the entrance to the County Cricket ground. The walling includes the garden wall of 136 Old Dover Road, contains much reused material, including worked stone. At the south end there is a blocked gateway with piers of knapped flint, stone and Tudor brick quoins.
