Description: Stable block at Haggerstone Castle. Built 1908 for Thomas Leyland. Scored stucco with ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roof. Four ranges round a courtyard. Two storeys and 7 bays. Boldly-moulded plinth, rusticated quoins. Tall, central, rusticated and pedimented carriage arch with date panel in pediment. On ground floor casement windows with keyed alternating-block surrounds.
