Description: Eighteenth and possible 19th century landscape park, pleasure grounds and kitchen gardens at Broughton Hall. Near the house is a balustraded terrace, pavilion and parterres of circa 1855. One of the parterres was replanted during the early 20th century. A woodland walk leads from the pavilion to a group of statues on the banks of Broughton Beck. In 1789-91 the beck was canalised, and a cascade constructed. The pleasure grounds contain a pinetum. There is a range of listed buildings present in the park.
