Abstract: | Greg Bailey looks into recently commissioned factual programmes for television, noting only three possibly 'archaeological' proposals among 250: a series on Easter Island; Tudor Monastery Farm, set in the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum in West Sussex; and The Marches: How a Border Made Us, focusing on individuals who lived in the area around Hadrian's Wall. A number of programmes with historical themes are also mentioned. LD |
