Abstract: |
TF 126334. About half (2280m2) of a subrectangular enclosure has been excavated to reveal oval, circular and four-post structures in at least four phases of occupation. During LBA the enclosure was abandoned and an extensive field system was laid out. The final prehistoric inhabitants engaged in saltmaking, perhaps as a result of climatic deterioration and marine transgression. Au(abr) |
