Abstract: Begun, in earnest, in the mid-1970s, environmental work has revealed the first RB asparagus, evidence for beetroot, a grain-pest thought to have been introduced in this century but now evinced from RB times, a possible grain house site (also RB), plus a little investigation of post-Roman sites. Future work plans are discussed at moderate length.
