The NW corner of the legionary principia and part of the E side of the 2nd century forum and basilica were located under St Paul-in-the-Bail. The two structures were separated by a layer of paving, and were differently planned. The 'Mint Wall' and past discoveries can now be interpreted as parts of the forum/basilica and a conjectural reconstruction drawn. D G | ||||
