Abstract: Describes a dump of 12th/13th pottery wasters and firebars; forms were mainly cooking pots in coarse sandy fabric with clay pellet temper. The possible relationship of the dump to the abbey and town is considered. An early occurrence of rivet wheat is noted. Au(adp)
