The evidence is then considered under a series of headings which comprise urban growth and property holding in Aberdeen, landowners and tenants, reconstructing urban plots, urban buildings and the composite picture. This is followed by individual sections on the development of Castle Street, 16-18 Nethergate, St Nicholas Triangle, 30-46 and 43-57 Upperkirkgate, 20-52 (Middle School) and 45-75 Gallowgate.
